Vanguard Realm Bounds Plugin FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I start claiming land?
Type /twand to get the selection wand, then left-click a block to set your first corner and right-click another block to set your second corner. Once both corners are marked, type /tg create to finalize your claim.
Can I claim land using coordinates instead of the wand?
Yes, you can use /tg tpos1 and /tg tpos2 commands to set corner positions by coordinates if you prefer not to use the wand.
How many claims can I make?
By default, you can create up to 5 territories per player, though your server admin can change this limit in the configuration file.
What's the smallest and largest claim size allowed?
The default minimum claim size is 10 blocks and the maximum is 1000 blocks, but your server admin can adjust these values in the settings.
How do I let my friends build in my claim?
Use the role system to invite friends—assign them as Co-Owner, Member, or Guest depending on what permissions you want them to have. The wiki guide 'Invite Friends and Assign Roles to Trusted Players' covers the exact commands.
Why can't my friend open chests in my claim?
Chest access is disabled by default; use /tg flag chest on to allow players with appropriate roles to open containers in your claim.
Does this plugin protect against Creeper and TNT explosions?
Yes, explosions are blocked by default inside claims, including TNT, Creeper blasts, and other explosion sources. You can toggle this with /tg flag explosions on if you want to allow them.
Will my claims be saved if the server restarts?
Yes, all claim data is saved directly to YAML files on the server, so your territories persist across restarts without needing a separate database.
Can I see where my claim borders are?
Yes, border particles are displayed by default so you can see the exact limits of your claim in the game world. You can disable particles in the configuration if needed.
Does this work with other plugins or mods?
The plugin integrates with PlaceholderAPI to display claim information in scoreboards and tab lists, and it's designed for multiplayer servers, but compatibility with other specific plugins depends on your server setup.
