Van Backport Compat Mod FAQ

It brings items from the Vanilla Backport mod, such as fallen leaves, wild plants, and animals, into other biome mods. This lets these features appear in many more places than just the normal game biomes.

It generates leaf litters on the ground and adds wild flowers, normal bushes, firefly bushes, and tall and short dry grass. You can find leaves and flowers everywhere across modded biomes.

Yes, it creates fallen oak, birch, and spruce trees. It also makes leaves and needles fall from trees, with falling leaf colors based on block textures.

It spawns warm and cold animal types, different types of wolves, and camels and armadillos naturally. This spreads these creatures into modded biomes as well.

It adds leaf litters to the Pale Garden biome. This extends the mod's ground cover features into that area.

It plays desert sounds in the background and stops new damage sources with the Happy Ghast. It also works with the Snow Real Magic mod.
