Understand the Vampire Fang Icon System

When the Fang Icon Appears

The Vampiric GUI Resource Pack adds a fang icon to your HUD when you're using the Vampirism Mod. This icon appears specifically when you look directly at an entity that you can bite as a vampire.

What It Indicates

The fang icon serves as a visual indicator that:

• You are currently targeting a valid bite victim
• Your vampire character has the ability to feed on this entity
• The entity is within range and line of sight

This replaces or supplements the default targeting system, making it thematic and immediately recognizable within the vampire aesthetic.

Using This Information

When you see the fang icon:

1. You know a bite action is available

2. The entity won't resist or prevent the action

3. Your blood bar (also themed by this pack) will update accordingly after feeding

Without the Vampirism Mod installed, this icon won't appear—it's exclusive to that mod combination. The fang icon integrates seamlessly into the hotbar design, maintaining the pack's dark red, purple, and gold color scheme while providing crucial gameplay feedback.
