Automate Crop Harvesting with a Mud Golem

Construction and Placement

Gather five Mud blocks and one Carved Pumpkin. Arrange the Mud blocks in the shape of an iron golem (two blocks wide at the arms, one block for the body, one for the head base), then crown it with the Carved Pumpkin.

Setting Up Harvest Collection

Place an empty chest near your fully grown crops. The Mud Golem will harvest mature crops and automatically deposit yields into nearby chests. Position it in the center of your farm for maximum coverage.

Maintenance and Defense

Feed your Mud Golem mud blocks to heal it when damaged. The golem actively defends its farm area by attacking any mobs that destroy crops, making it invaluable for protecting your harvest from hostile creatures.

Note: The Mud Golem moves slowly, so allow adequate space around it for movement.
