Finding and Exploring Soviet Cities

Locating Soviet Settlements

Use the /locate ussr_medium_mix command to find mid-sized Soviet city structures. This command pinpoints the nearest generated Soviet settlement in your world. Soviet cities range from small mud villages to massive 16-story apartment complexes, so you may encounter different scales depending on your location.

What to Expect

Once you arrive, you'll find dense panel buildings, factories, parks, hospitals, and government district structures. These settlements feature randomized apartment interiors with furnished rooms—each apartment layout differs thanks to jigsaw block mechanics, so exploration stays fresh.

Looting and Safety

Soviet cities contain valuable loot in apartments and administrative buildings. Watch for hostile mobs that may spawn in darker interior spaces. Bring torches or place light sources as you explore multi-story buildings to prevent mob spawning and improve visibility in narrow hallways and stairwells.

Villagers naturally inhabit these settlements, so you can trade with them or observe their routines around the city. The dense architecture makes navigation challenging—mark your path with blocks or use a map to avoid getting lost in the urban maze.
