Making a Specific Build or Base Show Up as Your World Icon

Why the Icon Looks the Way It Does

The icon is captured when the world finishes loading, from the player's position and viewing angle at that moment. That means you have direct control over what appears in the world list — you just have to be standing in the right place when the world loads.

Getting the Shot You Want

1. Enter your world and walk to the build or area you want featured.

2. Face the direction you want the camera to look. The icon uses your current view, so aim carefully.

3. Save and quit to the title screen.

4. Load the world again. As it loads, the mod captures the new icon from your saved position and angle.

5. Quit back to the title screen and check the world list to confirm the icon changed.

Tips for a Clean Icon

  • Stand slightly back from the build so more of it fits in frame.
  • Avoid standing inside blocks or under low ceilings, which can produce a dark or obstructed icon.
  • If the result is not what you wanted, just move, reload, and check again — you can repeat this as many times as you like.
  • Time of day matters: load the world at the time of day whose lighting you prefer for the icon.
