Farm infinite emeralds from a single villager

Set up your trading loop

With unlimited trading enabled, you can now repeatedly trade with the same villager without hitting the transaction cap. This makes it possible to farm large quantities of emeralds from a single merchant.

Steps

1. Find or create a villager with a trade you can sustain. Librarians trading enchanted books are popular, but any villager works.

2. Gather your trade goods in bulk. If trading with a Librarian, collect the items they want (often paper, books, or other common materials).

3. Perform the trade repeatedly. Without the mod's limit, you can trade as many times as you have materials. Each successful trade gives you emeralds.

4. Automate material collection if possible. Set up farms or collection systems for whatever the villager wants, so you never run out of trading stock.

5. Scale up by creating multiple villager stations with different trades. You can now maintain all of them indefinitely without waiting for trades to "reset."

Tips

This approach works best with villagers whose input items are easy to farm or craft. Combine with other mods for item sorting and automatic trading to maximize efficiency.
