Unlimited Trading Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

Do I need to do anything to enable unlimited trading?
No, the mod works automatically once installed. Simply trade with any villager as you normally would, and you'll notice the trade limit is gone.
Can I use this with villagers I've already traded with?
Yes, the mod removes limits on all villagers, including ones you've partially exhausted trades with. Their trades will reset and become unlimited.
Does this work on multiplayer servers?
The mod needs to be installed on the server for multiplayer worlds. If only clients have it, the server's vanilla trade limits will still apply.
Will this break my world or cause lag?
The mod is lightweight and won't corrupt your world. However, farming trades excessively in one area could cause performance issues like any large-scale farm would.
Can I farm infinite emeralds from one villager?
Yes, you can perform the same trade repeatedly with a single villager indefinitely. This is one of the main uses of the mod.
Does this affect wandering traders or only village villagers?
The mod only affects stationary villagers in villages. Wandering traders still have their normal trade limits.
What happens if I cure a zombie villager—do they keep unlimited trades?
Yes, cured zombie villagers will have unlimited trades just like any other villager once the mod is active.
Can I get rare enchanted books infinitely now?
Yes, if a librarian offers an enchanted book trade, you can now perform that trade as many times as you want without restocking delays.
Does this mod conflict with other mods that change trading?
Compatibility depends on how the other mod modifies trading; check the mod's documentation or test in a world. Most quality-of-life mods work fine together.
Can I turn off unlimited trading for specific villagers?
The mod applies globally to all villagers. There's no built-in per-villager toggle, so you'd need to manage which villagers you use for unlimited trades.
