Setting Up a Shop

Universal Shops Mod adds a server-side trading system, so only the server needs the mod installed — players can connect with a normal client.

To start selling, craft a Player Trade Shop block from four planks, one wool, and one iron ingot. Place this block on top of or next to a storage container such as a chest. The shop draws its stock from that container.

Once placed, click the shop block to open its settings menu. There you choose which item to sell, set the price, and adjust other options. Prices are flexible: you can make an item free or require specific items as payment.

Server owners also get Admin Trade Shops, a special block that supplies infinite items without needing a storage chest — useful for server-run vendors.

Because everything runs on the server, all players see and use the same shops without installing anything themselves.
