Switching Between Grid, Crafting, Fluid, and Autocrafting Views
The whole point of the Universal Grid is that one block replaces several Refined Storage screens. Knowing how to flip between them quickly is the main skill you need.
Finding the View Tabs
When you open the Universal Grid, look at the top of the interface. There are tabs or toggle buttons that correspond to each mode: the plain Grid for browsing and extracting items, the Crafting Grid for 3x3 crafting, the Fluid Grid for liquids, and the Autocrafting Monitor for tracking crafting tasks.
Using Each Mode
- Grid: Search your storage, pull stacks into your inventory, and sort items. This is your default view.
- Crafting Grid: A crafting table appears inside the interface. Craft using items pulled straight from your network without moving them to your inventory first.
- Fluid Grid: Shows fluids stored in Fluid Storage Disks or tanks on the network. You can insert or extract buckets and other fluid containers here.
- Autocrafting Monitor: Displays active and queued crafting jobs. Use it to cancel or reorder tasks you started from a Pattern Grid or Crafting Grid.
Click a tab to switch instantly. Your search text and scroll position may reset, so re-type your query if needed.
