How to Craft and Place the Universal Grid

The Universal Grid is the centerpiece of this addon, combining several Refined Storage screens into one block. Before you can use it, you need a working Refined Storage network with a Controller, some storage (disks or external storage), and power.

Crafting the Grid

Open your crafting interface and look up the Universal Grid recipe in JEI/REI. It is built around Refined Storage components, so make sure you already have the base mod's crafting materials on hand. If the recipe does not appear, confirm that Refined Storage is loaded alongside this addon.

Placing It on Your Network

1. Place the Universal Grid so it touches a cable or another network block. It must be part of the same network as your Controller.

2. Right-click the block to open the interface. You should see your stored items immediately.

3. If the screen is empty or shows a red error, check that the network has power and that the Controller is running.

4. Use the tabs or buttons along the top of the interface to switch between the standard Grid, Crafting Grid, Fluid Grid, and Autocrafting Monitor views.

Once placed, the Universal Grid behaves like a normal Grid but saves you from crafting and placing three separate blocks.
