Set Up Health Regeneration by Killing Mobs

Configure Your Regeneration Targets

Health regeneration lets you recover lost maximum health by killing specific mobs. Open your mod config file and locate the regenHealth setting—set it to true to enable this feature.

Add Mobs to Your Regen List

Edit the regenTargets list using this syntax: modid:mobname, frequency, amount

  • modid:mobname: The mod and mob identifier (use minecraft: for vanilla mobs, or *:* for any mob)
  • frequency: How many kills before you gain health (e.g., 1 means every kill, 10 means every 10th kill)
  • amount: Health regained per trigger, in half-hearts

Example Configurations

[minecraft:zombie,1,10] — Gain half a heart every 10 zombie kills

[*:*,1,20] — Gain half a heart every 20 kills of any mob

[minecraft:*,1,15] — Gain half a heart every 15 vanilla mob kills

Set Your Regen Limit

Adjust maxRegenned to cap how much health you can recover through killing. Once you hit this limit, further kills won't restore more health. Enable regennedHealthMessage to see notifications when your max health changes.
