How to Uncraft Items in Your Crafting Table

Setting Up Your Uncrafting Station

Unlike regular crafting, uncrafting requires a specific setup. Place your crafted item in the crafting grid alongside any necessary catalysts or tools the recipe demands. The mod will recognize valid uncrafting recipes automatically.

Finding What You Can Uncraft

Not every item has an uncrafting recipe—the mod includes over 720 recipes for vanilla items, but custom or modded items may not be supported. Check your crafting table: if a recipe appears when you place an item, it's uncrattable.

Recovering Your Materials

Once you've arranged the uncrafting recipe correctly, the output slots will show the component materials you'll receive. Complete the recipe to break down your item. You'll get back most or all of the original ingredients used to craft it.

Tips for Efficiency

• Uncraft damaged or unwanted gear to recover valuable resources
• Use uncrafting to recycle bulk items when your inventory is full of duplicates
• Some recipes may require the item to be in a specific condition (full durability, for example)
