Ukias Tools Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I get started with this resource pack?
Install the resource pack through your resource packs folder, then load into a world with vanilla Minecraft. You'll immediately see updated textures on all tools and weapons—no additional setup needed.
How do I turn a spear into a tournament lance?
Craft or obtain a spear, then use an anvil to rename it to one of the lance variants (Adler Lance, Hirsch Lance, Lowen Lance, or Wolf Lance depending on the spear's material). The texture will change to show a colored tournament lance.
What material prefixes work with polearms?
You can pair material names (like Iron, Diamond, Copper, etc.) with polearm types—Lance, Halberd, Boar Spear, Greatlance, Guisarme, Glaive, or Naginata—in an anvil to create different weapon variants. For example, "Iron Halberd" or "Diamond Glaive" will change the spear's appearance.
How do copper tools oxidize in this pack?
Copper tools and spears display four distinct visual stages as they oxidize over time, showing progression from fresh copper to fully weathered green patina. This is purely visual and doesn't affect tool functionality.
Can I make the relic weapons like Sword of the Creator?
Yes—rename a netherite sword, axe, or spear in an anvil to "Sword of the Creator," "Aymr," or "Areadbhar" to transform it into a special relic weapon with a unique appearance.
Do I need a code mod or Fabric/Forge for this to work?
No, this is a resource pack only and works directly in vanilla Minecraft without any mods or loaders. Just install it like any other resource pack.
Will renamed weapons keep their custom look if I drop them?
Yes, the custom texture persists on dropped items and in your inventory—the rename is permanent until you change it again in an anvil.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs?
Yes, but load this pack higher in your resource pack list than packs that also modify tools and weapons to ensure Ukia's textures take priority.
Why don't my renamed weapons look different?
Make sure you're using the exact item name (like "Adler Lance" with proper capitalization) and that the base item is the correct material—for example, "Adler Lance" requires an iron spear, not a wooden one.
Does this pack change how weapons perform in combat?
No, this is purely visual—all weapons keep their vanilla damage, speed, and durability. The pack only updates sprites and adds custom textures through renaming.
