How to Make the Day Counter Show on a Multiplayer or LAN World

Know Where the Mod Runs

Overlay mods that display a title for each new day are usually client-side: the title is drawn on your own screen, not broadcast to everyone. That means each player who wants to see the counter needs the mod installed on their own game, even if the world is hosted by someone else.

For a LAN World

If you are hosting a world to LAN, the day counter still follows the world's day cycle. Your own overlay will keep working as normal. Friends joining your LAN game will only see the titles if they also have the mod installed on their client — the host cannot force the overlay onto them.

For a Dedicated Server

On a dedicated server, install the mod on each client that should see the overlay. The server itself does not need to send the title; the client reads the world day and displays it locally. If a friend reports seeing nothing, confirm the mod is actually loaded on their side by checking their mod list.

Confirm the Day Syncs

Because the overlay reads the world's day number, everyone on the same server sees the same day value. If your counter and a friend's counter disagree, one of you is likely on a different world or a desynced connection — reconnect and check again.
