Using Tweakeroo's Flexible Block Placement to Build Faster

What Flexible Placement Changes

Vanilla restricts where and how you can place blocks, for example requiring a supporting face or specific orientation. Tweakeroo's flexible placement tweak relaxes some of these client-side restrictions so you can place blocks against faces or in spots that would normally be rejected. This is especially useful for detailing, filling gaps, and building shapes that are awkward in vanilla.

Steps to Use It

Open the Tweakeroo config and find the flexible block placement toggle in the tweaks list. Enable it. You may also want to enable the related tweak that allows placing blocks without a supporting neighbor, depending on what you are building.

With it on, hold a block in your hotbar and right-click the target face. The client will attempt placements that vanilla would block. Watch for the block appearing where you aimed rather than snapping to a legal neighbor.

Because this is client-side, servers with anti-cheat or strict placement validation may reject the action. Test on your own world first, then on the server you play on. If placements fail, disable the tweak or reduce how aggressively you use it. Pair it with reach tweaks for large-scale building.
