How to Place Blocks Beyond Normal Reach with Tweakeroo
Understanding the Reach Tweaks
Tweakeroo includes placement-related tweaks that let you interact with blocks further away than vanilla survival normally allows. These are client-side, so they affect what your client sends to the server. On multiplayer servers, the server still validates distance, so extreme values may be rejected or flagged. Use reasonable values and check server rules.
Enabling and Using It
Open the Tweakeroo configuration screen (default keybind is usually opened through the mod's config hotkey, often bound in the controls menu). Navigate to the tweaks list and look for the block-reach or placement-reach option. Toggle it on, then adjust the reach distance value to something modest first.
Once enabled, aim at a block face and right-click as normal. Your client will attempt to place the block at the targeted position even if it is further than the vanilla limit. If nothing happens, the server likely rejected the action, so lower the value.
Combine this with the flexible block placement tweak, which lets you place blocks in orientations or positions vanilla would refuse, such as against certain faces. Test in a singleplayer creative world first to see exactly how far you can push it before the server refuses.
