Troubleshoot Missing or Non-Working Trinkets

Trinkets Not Appearing

If you have trinket items but they won't equip:

1. Verify the mod adding the trinkets is installed and enabled

2. Check that Trinkets itself is installed and loaded

3. Restart your game—sometimes mods need a full reload to register items

4. Look at your inventory screen; trinket slots should be visible even if empty

Items Won't Equip to Slots

If an item won't go into a slot:

1. Confirm it's actually a trinket item (check the mod's documentation)

2. Ensure you're placing it in the correct slot type—items have specific slot requirements

3. Some trinkets may have durability or special conditions; check if the item is damaged or locked

4. Try moving the item to a different slot category if available

Effects Not Working

If a trinket is equipped but its effect isn't active:

1. Verify the trinket is fully in the slot (not partially dragged)

2. Check mod documentation for activation requirements

3. Some effects only work in specific situations (combat, night, underwater, etc.)

4. Reload your world or restart the game if effects seem stuck
