How do I open the Trinkets screen?
Open your inventory as normal. You'll see additional accessory slots displayed alongside your regular inventory slots—these are your trinket slots. Click on any empty trinket slot to equip an accessory there.
What are the different trinket slot types?
Trinket slots are organized by equipment type (head, chest, legs, feet, hand, offhand, and more depending on your mods). Each slot type determines where an accessory sits and what effects it can have. Some accessories only work in specific slot types, so check the item's tooltip to see which slots it fits.
Can I equip the same trinket multiple times?
Yes, you can equip multiple copies of the same accessory in different trinket slots, and their effects will stack. This allows you to combine multiple instances of the same bonus.
Why isn't my accessory working even though it's equipped?
Check that the accessory is in a compatible slot type—some trinkets only function in specific slots. Also verify that the mod adding that accessory is properly installed and loaded; if it's missing, the trinket won't work.
Do Trinkets work with other mods?
Yes—Trinkets is designed as an API that other mods use to add their own accessories. Any mod that implements the Trinkets API will have its items appear in and function through your trinket slots.
Can I save and switch between different trinket setups?
Some mods add loadout or preset features that let you save trinket configurations and swap between them quickly. Check if your other installed mods provide this feature, or manually swap trinkets as needed.
What's the difference between Trinkets and Trinkets Polymer Port?
Trinkets Polymer Port is a version of Trinkets built on the Polymer framework, allowing it to work on servers and with cross-platform compatibility. It maintains full compatibility with the regular Trinkets API, so accessories work the same way.
Do Trinkets take up inventory space?
No—trinkets are equipped in dedicated accessory slots that are separate from your regular inventory. They don't consume any of your 27 inventory slots.
Can I drop or lose my equipped Trinkets?
Trinkets stay equipped in their slots and won't drop when you die or travel between dimensions. They're persistent until you manually unequip them.
Why do some accessories not appear in my trinket slots?
The mod that adds those accessories may not be installed, or it may not be compatible with your version of Trinkets. Verify all your mods are up to date and that they support the Trinkets API.
