Choosing Which Armor Type Works Best With Your Skin
Matching Armor to Skin Design
Since this pack makes your skin more visible, certain armor types complement different skin styles better than others.
Testing Each Armor Type
1. Leather armor – best for skins with detailed clothing or patterns, as it covers the least and allows maximum skin visibility
2. Chainmail – creates a mesh effect; works well with skins that have metallic or industrial themes
3. Iron armor – provides moderate coverage with a clean look; suits most skin designs
4. Gold armor – bright and decorative; pairs well with skins featuring gold accents or luxury themes
5. Diamond armor – sleek and minimal; complements modern or futuristic skin designs
6. Netherite armor – darkest option; works with darker skins or gothic aesthetics
How to Decide
Equip each type and view your character in third-person. Pay attention to:
- Color harmony between your skin and armor palette
- Visual balance – does the armor enhance or clash with your skin's design?
- Detail visibility – can you still see important skin features like clothing patterns or accessories?
Choose the armor type that makes your skin look intentional rather than accidentally covered.
