Set Up Different Keys for Different Containers
Create Multiple Named Keys
Rename several trial keys with different names in an anvil. Each unique name acts as a separate password. For example, you might create keys named "storage-room," "treasure-vault," and "supplies."
Lock Containers to Specific Keys
Hold each renamed key and lock different containers to it. Only players holding a key with that exact name can open those containers. This lets you organize access—give the "supplies" key to trusted teammates while keeping the "treasure-vault" key private.
Share Keys Strategically
Because locks bind to key names rather than player profiles, you can trade or duplicate keys to grant access. Drop a key for a teammate to pick up, and they'll immediately be able to open all containers locked to that key name.
Track Your Keys
Use /chestlock keyinfo while holding a key to see all containers locked to it and their coordinates. This helps you remember which key opens what.
