Break Into a Locked Container Using Lockpicks

Craft the Right Lockpick

Three tiers exist: Rusty Pick (easiest to craft, breaks often), Normal Pick (moderate difficulty), and Silence Pick (hardest to craft, most reliable). Choose based on what materials you have and how much risk you're willing to take. Higher-tier picks have better success rates.

Attempt to Pick the Lock

Hold your lockpick and right-click the locked container. A minigame menu will open showing a series of pins. Your goal is to match the correct depth for each pin by clicking or adjusting them in the interface.

Complete the Minigame

Carefully align all pins to their correct positions. If you succeed, the container unlocks. If you fail, the lockpick may break and you'll take damage. Failed attempts consume durability even on success, so bring multiple picks if you're uncertain.

Recover and Retry

If your pick breaks, craft another and try again. Each attempt is independent, so persistence and practice improve your odds.
