Apply Custom Growth Rules to Mushrooms

Extend Treeplacer to Mushrooms

Treeplacer isn't limited to trees—you can also customize how mushrooms grow using the same rule system. This lets you create custom huge mushroom variants based on biome, block type, or other conditions.

Configuring Mushroom Growth

1. Access your mod configuration.

2. Locate the mushroom section (usually separate from tree rules).

3. Define custom growth rules for red or brown mushrooms, specifying which biomes or blocks trigger which mushroom structures.

4. Save your configuration and reload.

5. Plant mushrooms in your world and use bone meal to test growth.

Creative Uses

You can make mushrooms grow into different sizes or shapes depending on their environment, or restrict certain mushroom types to specific biomes. This adds variety to underground or dark forest areas and makes mushroom farming more interesting.

Like trees, mushroom rules follow the same biome and block-type logic, so if you're familiar with tree customization, mushrooms work similarly.
