How to Fell a Whole Tree Instantly with Tree Vein Miner

The basic action

Tree Vein Miner triggers on a single, specific input combination: you must be crouching (sneaking) when you break a log block. If you are standing normally, the mod stays out of the way and only the one block you hit breaks, exactly like vanilla.

Step by step

1. Walk up to the trunk of a tree and position yourself so you can reach a log block.

2. Hold your crouch/sneak key (default is Shift) so your character is visibly lowered.

3. While still crouched, break one log block with your axe, hand, or any tool.

4. The mod reads that block as part of a tree and clears the connected logs and the leaves belonging to that tree in one go.

Things to keep in mind

• The trigger is the crouch, not the tool. Any tool works, though an axe is still fastest for the initial hit.
• If nothing extra breaks, you almost certainly were not crouching at the moment the block was destroyed. Release and re-press sneak, then try again.
• Because leaves vanish too, saplings and apples that would normally drop from leaf decay are handled by the mod's own drop behavior, so check the ground where the canopy was.
