Troubleshoot Trees Not Breaking Completely

Why Your Tree Didn't Fall All at Once

Sometimes a tree breaks partially instead of completely. This usually means a configuration limit is preventing full tree destruction.

Check Distance Limits

The max-break-distance setting may be set too low for the tree size you're chopping. Tall jungle trees or giant dark oaks can exceed this limit. Ask your server admin to check this value in the config file and increase it if needed.

Verify Connected Blocks

Tree Capitator only breaks logs that are physically connected to the one you hit. If your tree has floating branches or disconnected sections, those won't fall. Mine those sections separately.

Leaf Interference

If leaves are blocking the plugin's search path, it may not find all connected logs. Enable leaf-destruction so leaves are cleared alongside logs, allowing better detection of the full tree structure.

Server Performance

Your server admin may have limited these settings intentionally to prevent lag. If trees consistently break incompletely, ask them to review the configuration balance between tree size and server stability.
