Troubleshooting: Why the Refresh Button Won't Work

Common Causes

If clicking the refresh button or pressing your keybind does nothing, the most likely reason is that you have already completed a trade with that villager. Vanilla locks trades after the first transaction, and the mod respects this, so no refresh is possible. Move on to a villager you have not traded with.

Another cause is a missing or unlinked workstation. A villager needs a valid, claimed job site block to have a profession and offers. If the workstation was removed, obstructed, or claimed by a different villager, the trade list may be empty or the refresh may fail. Replace or free up the correct workstation and let the villager re-claim it.

Checks to Run

Confirm the villager actually has a profession and shows trade offers at all; an unemployed villager has nothing to refresh. Verify your keybind is not conflicting with another mod's control. If you recently changed the villager's profession, give it a moment to settle before refreshing. Finally, make sure you are looking at the right villager in a hall, since similar-looking villagers are easy to mix up. Once these are cleared, the refresh should reroll offers normally.
