Refreshing Trades Without Breaking and Replacing Workstations
Why the Manual Method Wastes Time
In vanilla, rerolling a villager's trades means breaking the workstation block, waiting for the villager to lose its profession, then placing the block again so it re-claims a job and rolls new offers. This is slow and awkward in a crowded trading hall where workstations sit behind fences or in tight cells.
The Mod's Shortcut
With Trade Refresh installed, you skip the block-breaking entirely. Open the un-traded villager's trading menu and use the refresh button or your bound key. The mod performs the same reroll internally, so the villager keeps its position and workstation while its offers change. No blocks are removed, no items drop, and no villager AI pathing is disturbed.
This matters most in dense trading halls where every workstation is boxed in. You no longer need to reach the block, and you avoid accidentally letting another villager claim a freed workstation. Keep each villager paired with its own workstation, leave them un-traded until you find the offer you want, and refresh as many times as needed. Once you accept a trade, that villager is locked and should be moved aside or marked so you do not waste refreshes on it later.
