How to Refresh a Villager's Trades with the Refresh Button
Finding the Button
Open the trading screen by right-clicking a villager who has a workstation and at least one trade slot. The Trade Refresh Mod adds a refresh button directly inside this menu, usually placed near the trade list or the villager's inventory area. You do not need to close the screen or interact with the workstation block.
Using It Correctly
Before clicking, confirm the villager has not been traded with yet. The refresh function only works on an un-traded villager, matching vanilla behavior where a villager's trades lock permanently after the first completed trade. Once you click the refresh button, the villager's current offers are discarded and a fresh set of trades is rolled, exactly as if you had broken and replaced the workstation.
Click the button repeatedly to cycle through offers until you see the enchanted book, tool, or trade you want. Each click rerolls the entire trade list. When you find a good offer, complete a trade immediately to lock it in, because further refreshes will not be possible after that point. If the button appears greyed out, the villager has already been traded with or lacks a valid profession and workstation.
