How to Make Totem Visuals Consistent Across Texture Packs
Why Texture Packs Break Totem Visuals
Different resource packs draw the totem at different resolutions and with different framing, so a size or position that looks correct with one pack can look stretched, cropped, or misaligned with another. Totem Tweaks is built to stay compatible with all texture packs, but you still need to tune the values so the totem reads correctly with the pack you actually use.
Using Static Size and Locked Rotation
Enable the static size feature so the handheld totem and the pop totem share one dimension. This prevents the common problem where the pop totem appears at a different scale than the one in your hand. Then enable lock rotation position so the totem holds a fixed angle instead of spinning, which keeps the artwork oriented the way the pack author intended.
Fine-Tuning Per Pack
With static size and locked rotation on, adjust the shared size value until the totem fills its slot without clipping. Then nudge the X and Y position offsets so the totem sits where the pack's framing expects. If you swap packs often, note your preferred values so you can re-enter them quickly. Test both the handheld view and a real totem save, since the two render paths can still differ slightly even with static size enabled.
