How do I open the Totem Tweaks config?
Open the mod's config screen from the mod list menu, or edit the config file directly in your instance's config folder. Changes usually apply after saving, though some may need a game restart.
Where do I change the totem size?
Look for the size options in the config, which are split between the handheld totem and the pop animation. Each can be scaled independently so your held totem and the activation effect don't have to match.
How do I make the totem pop animation faster or slower?
Use the pop animation speed setting in the config to scale how quickly the animation plays. Lower values slow it down and higher values speed it up, so tune it until the pop feels right.
Can I move where the totem pops up on screen?
Yes, the config has X and Y position sliders for the pop animation. Adjust them to shift the totem's on-screen position, which is useful if it overlaps your HUD or hotbar.
How do I turn off the totem pop animation completely?
Enable the option to disable the pop animation in the config. The totem will still function and save you, but no animation will play when it activates.
How do I stop the totem from rotating in my hand?
Use the disable totem rotations option, or enable lock rotation position if you only want the rotation frozen in place rather than removed. Locking keeps a consistent angle instead of the totem spinning.
What does the static size feature do?
Static size keeps the totem at one uniform size during activation instead of scaling between the handheld and pop sizes. This is useful if you want the totem to look the same the whole time it's in use.
Why does my totem look wrong or clip with my texture pack?
Texture packs with custom totem models or different resolutions can interact with size and position changes. Try resetting size and position to default first, then adjust one setting at a time to find what fits your pack.
