How to Disable the Totem Pop Animation or Totem Rotations
Turning Off the Pop Animation
Open the Totem Tweaks config and look for the option to disable the totem pop animation. Enabling this removes the on-screen totem flash entirely when a totem saves you. This is useful if the animation causes motion discomfort, clashes with a resource pack, or simply distracts you during fast fights. The totem still functions normally — you keep the save, you just lose the visual.
Disabling Totem Rotations
Separately, the mod offers an option to disable all totem rotations. This stops the totem from spinning or rotating during use, which some players find distracting or inconsistent with certain texture packs. If you only want to stop rotation but keep the pop visible, use this option instead of the full animation disable.
Locking Rotation Position
If you want the totem to keep a fixed orientation rather than spin, use the lock rotation position feature. This holds the totem at a consistent angle so it always looks the same every time it activates. Combine it with a static size if you want fully uniform visuals. After changing any of these toggles, trigger a totem save to confirm the animation behaves as expected, then save the config so the settings stick.
