How to Change Totem Size for Handheld and Pop Animations
Finding the Size Options
Open the Totem Tweaks config from the mod list screen or the in-game config menu. You will see separate entries for handheld size and pop animation size. Keeping these separate matters because the totem you hold in your hand and the totem that flashes on screen when it saves you are rendered by different code paths, so a size that looks right in your hand may look oversized or tiny during the pop.
Adjusting Each Value
Change the handheld size first and check it in third person or with a mod that shows your held item clearly. Once it looks correct, move to the pop animation size. If you want the pop totem to match your handheld totem exactly, enable the static size feature — this forces both to share one dimension so they never drift apart visually. If you prefer a bigger dramatic pop, leave static size off and raise only the pop value.
Testing Your Changes
Trigger a totem save in a safe way, such as standing in a controlled damage source with a totem in your offhand. Watch the pop animation and confirm the size feels right. If a texture pack makes the totem look stretched, reduce the size slightly rather than disabling the animation entirely. Save the config when satisfied so the values persist across restarts.
