How to Change Totem Pop Animation Speed and Position
Locating Speed and Position Settings
In the Totem Tweaks config, find the pop animation section. It exposes a speed control plus X and Y position offsets. Speed governs how long the totem stays visible and how fast it scales or fades during the save animation. The X and Y offsets move where the totem appears on your screen relative to its default centered position.
Tuning the Animation
If the default pop feels too fast to notice, lower the speed so the animation lingers. If it feels sluggish and blocks your view during combat, raise the speed so it clears quickly. For position, increase X to push the totem right, decrease it to push left. Increase Y to move it down, decrease to move it up — check the direction in-game since axis conventions can feel inverted depending on how you think about screen space.
Practical Placement Tips
Many players move the pop totem slightly off-center or toward a corner so it does not cover the crosshair or the mob they are fighting. Pair a small position offset with a moderate speed so the animation reads clearly without obscuring your view. Test during real combat, not just a controlled hit, because the pop competes with other on-screen effects. Save the config once the placement feels unobtrusive.
