How to Scroll a Long Item Tooltip in Minecraft

When an item has more information than fits on screen, the tooltip gets cut off. With this mod installed, hover over the item so the tooltip appears, then press the Page Up key to scroll the tooltip content up and Page Down to scroll it down. You do not need to hold any modifier for vertical movement — just tap the keys while the tooltip is visible.

Each press nudges the tooltip by a small amount, so tap repeatedly to read through enchantments, lore, NBT data, or mod-added stats that extend past the bottom of the screen.

If Nothing Happens

• Make sure the tooltip is actually open (your cursor is over the item) before pressing the keys.
• Check that another mod or your keyboard layout is not intercepting Page Up/Page Down.
• If the tooltip is short, there is nothing to scroll — the keys only move content that overflows.

Reading Long Modded Items

Items from tech, magic, or RPG mods often carry dozens of lines. Scroll down to reach the bottom, then Page Up to return. The scroll position resets when you move to a different item, so re-hover and scroll again as needed.
