How to Move a Tooltip Anywhere On or Off the Screen

Free Positioning

This mod lets you push a tooltip to any position, including partially or fully off the screen. Hover the item to open the tooltip, then use the scroll keys to nudge it:

• Page Up / Page Down — move the tooltip up or down.
• Shift + Page Up / Page Down — move the tooltip left or right.

Repeated presses accumulate, so you can walk a tooltip across the whole display.

Pushing It Off-Screen

If a tooltip is blocking something important, keep scrolling in one direction until it leaves the visible area. The mod allows the tooltip to go beyond the screen bounds, so it can disappear entirely. Scroll the opposite way to bring it back.

Recovering a Lost Tooltip

If you scrolled a tooltip off-screen and cannot find it:

1. Move your cursor off the item so the tooltip closes.

2. Hover the item again — the tooltip reappears at its default position.

3. If it does not reset, open the mod's settings and restore the default tooltip offset.

When to Use This

Use free positioning to clear your view during combat, to read a tooltip against a plain background, or to line up multiple tooltips for comparison.
