How to Change the Tooltip Scroll Keybinds and Settings

Opening the Controls Menu

All scroll keys are rebindable. Go to Options → Controls → Key Binds and look for the Tooltip Scroll Mod category. You will find entries for scrolling up, down, left, and right. Click an entry and press the key you want to assign.

If Page Up/Page Down conflict with another mod or your keyboard, rebinding here fixes it.

Adjusting Mod Settings

Open the mod's own config screen (usually reachable from the Mods list or a config button) to tune behavior. Available options typically include:

• Scroll speed or step size — how far each key press moves the tooltip.
• Whether horizontal movement requires holding Shift.
• Default tooltip position and offset.

Resetting to Defaults

If you have scrolled tooltips into strange positions or changed too many settings, use the Reset or Restore Defaults button in the config screen. This returns keybinds and offsets to their original values.

Notes

• Changes to keybinds apply immediately; no restart is usually needed.
• If a setting does not seem to take effect, close and reopen the tooltip.
• Keep scroll keys distinct from keys you use for inventory sorting or hotbar switching to avoid conflicts.
