Adjust Item Position and Rotation on Your Back

Understanding Positioning Controls

Each item has six adjustment values that control how it appears:

• scale: Makes the item larger or smaller
• angle: Rotates the item (think of tilting it left or right)
• offsetX: Moves it left or right on your back
• offsetY: Moves it up or down
• offsetZ: Moves it closer to or further from your body

Making Adjustments

1. Open /config/tools-on-my-back.json5

2. Find the item you want to adjust in the "tools" array

3. Edit the values:

• Start with small changes (try 0.1 or 0.2 for offsets)
• Increase scale to make items more visible
• Use angle to tilt weapons at a natural angle

4. Save and restart your game to see changes

Testing Your Changes

Hold the item in your main hand, then switch to another item. Your character's back will show the adjusted positioning. If it still doesn't look right, make another small adjustment and test again.
