Equip a Tool to Your Hotbar

Place any sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, or hoe in your hotbar slots (1-9). Select it by pressing the corresponding number key or scrolling with your mouse wheel.

Hold the Tool in First Person

Once equipped, your tool appears in the bottom-right corner of your screen in first-person view. The Tools 3D Resource Pack displays the item with full depth and realistic shading—you'll see the thick handle, detailed blade, and 3D geometry that makes it feel solid and substantial.

Use Tools Normally

Mine blocks, chop wood, or dig dirt as usual. The 3D model updates smoothly as you swing. If you're using Better Combat mod alongside this resource pack, the thick models make combat animations look significantly more impactful and satisfying.

Switch Between Tools

Cycle through different tools in your hotbar to compare how each tier looks. Stone tools have basic depth, while diamond and netherite equipment showcase premium, highly detailed 3D geometry.
