Disable TNT Chain Reactions
Why Disable Chain Reactions
Chain reactions occur when an explosion triggers nearby TNT blocks to detonate in sequence, creating cascading damage. Disabling this is useful for controlled demolition, creative building, or preventing accidental server grief.
Configuration Steps
1. Locate your mod's configuration file (typically in the config folder of your Minecraft directory)
2. Open the TNTUtils configuration file
3. Find the setting related to chain reactions or secondary detonation
4. Set the option to false or disabled
5. Save the file and restart your server or game
Testing Your Changes
Place multiple TNT blocks close together and ignite one. If configured correctly, only the ignited block will explode—nearby TNT will remain intact. This gives you precise control over which explosions occur and when, making it ideal for puzzle maps or controlled demolition scenarios.
