How to Set Up Ely.by Skins and Use Them on Servers

What Ely.by Does

Ely.by is an alternative skin system. It lets you use a custom skin even when you are not signed in with a Mojang or Microsoft account. The launcher supports Ely.by accounts directly, so your skin loads in-game and can be seen by other players on servers that support the system.

Adding an Ely.by Account

In the account section, choose to add a new account and select the Ely.by type. Enter your Ely.by login details and confirm. Once added, select this account before launching. The launcher will fetch your skin from Ely.by and apply it.

Making Sure the Skin Shows

Your skin must be uploaded and set on your Ely.by profile first — the launcher only pulls what is already there. After logging in, launch the game and check your character. If the skin does not appear, re-select the account and relaunch.

Server Support

Other players see your Ely.by skin only on servers that have the Ely.by skin system enabled. On servers without it, you may appear with a default skin. This is a server-side limitation, not a launcher problem. If you run your own server, enabling the Ely.by skin system lets all Ely.by players display their custom skins to everyone.
