What Causes a Clash

Village clashes occur when your reputation with one or both factions is low enough, and soldiers from both Masons and Agathians are present in the same village. The enableVillageClashes configuration option must be turned on for this to happen.

What to Expect

When a clash begins, large numbers of soldiers from both factions spawn and engage in combat. Buildings take damage, fires spread, and the village becomes a war zone. Elite Leaders will appear and coordinate their troops.

Survival Tips

Stay on rooftops or in elevated positions to avoid the main fighting. Use this vantage point to pick off isolated enemies or heal from a distance.

Do not engage directly unless you have high reputation with one faction—they may protect you or at least not target you.

If your reputation is neutral or negative with both sides, leave the village immediately. You will be caught in crossfire.

After the Clash

Once the fighting ends, loot dropped weapons and armor from fallen soldiers. Rebuild your reputation with the winning faction by gifting valuables.
