How to Change Your GUI Scale with the TipTheScales Slider

Opening the Slider

Once TipTheScales is installed, the GUI Scale option in Video Settings is no longer a set of fixed buttons — it becomes a draggable slider. Open Options → Video Settings and look for the GUI Scale row. Instead of clicking through discrete steps, you now click and drag the handle left or right to land on any value in the range.

Picking a Value

Drag the slider slowly and watch the on-screen preview update as you move it. Smaller values make the interface elements smaller and fit more on screen; larger values make buttons, text, and menus bigger and easier to read. Because the slider is continuous, you can stop between the values the vanilla game would normally snap to, letting you fine-tune the size to your monitor and resolution.

Confirming and Reverting

Release the handle where you want it, then leave the menu or press Done to apply. If the result looks wrong, reopen Video Settings and drag the slider back. If you ever want to return to the default behavior, set the slider to the value that matches vanilla's standard scale for your resolution. Note that this mod is client-side, so changes only affect your own display and never the server.
