Create a Custom Tip for the Loading Screen

Locate the Configuration File

Find the Tips Enhancement Mod config file in your .minecraft/config folder. The file name typically contains "tips" or "enhancement" — open it with any text editor.

Write Your Tip Text

Look for the section labeled for loading screen tips. Enter your custom message between the quotation marks. You can write anything: server rules, gameplay hints, lore, or jokes.

Apply Color Codes

Use Minecraft color codes to style your text. Prefix colors with & (for example, &c for red, &a for green, &l for bold). Combine codes in your message:

Save and Reload

Save the config file. Restart your game or use /reload if your server supports it. Your custom tip will appear the next time you see the loading screen.

Test Multiple Tips

Many config files let you add multiple tips in a list. The mod will rotate through them or pick one at random — check your config comments for the exact behavior.
