Adding and Using Tips

The Tips mod replaces the plain loading screen with one that cycles through short pieces of text. Tips appear while the game loads, so you read them without doing anything extra.

Modpacks and mods can register their own tips through the mod's support for custom entries. If you are a pack author, this means your pack can surface its own hints, changelog notes, or instructions during load instead of relying on outside documentation. If you are a player, you simply see whatever tips the mods and packs you have installed provide.

Because the mod is single-purpose, there is nothing to configure in normal play. Install it, and loading menus gain tips. The content you see depends entirely on which mods and packs ship tips of their own. A pack with no registered tips will show only the default set.
