Craft Your First Boomerang

Materials You'll Need

Boomerangs are one of the earliest ranged weapons you can make in Tinkers' Gadgets. Gather two knife blades (craft these from your chosen blade material in the Part Builder) and one clasp. Clasps can be made from various materials like glass, slime, shulker shells, prismarine, or redstone—each offers different trait benefits.

Assembly Steps

1. Open your Part Builder and craft two knife blades from your preferred material

2. Craft one clasp using your chosen clasp material

3. Take these three parts to your Tool Station

4. Combine the two knife blades and clasp to assemble your boomerang

Using Your Boomerang

Hold Right-Click to charge your throw, then release to launch. The boomerang will travel forward, hit targets, and automatically return to your inventory—no need to chase it down. Different blade and clasp material combinations grant unique projectile traits, so experiment with materials to unlock effects like piercing, item collection, or block shattering for tactical advantages.
