Gathering Heat Ray Components

The Heat Ray Gun is a fuel-powered ranged weapon that fires continuous energy blasts. You'll need four parts: a tough tool rod, a large plate, a fuel tank, and a heat ray emitter. The tank and emitter materials significantly affect your damage output and beam behavior.

Assembly in the Tool Station

1. Craft all four components in your Part Builder

2. Bring them to your Tool Station

3. Combine them to assemble your Heat Ray Gun

Fueling and Firing

Before using your gun, load burnable items into your inventory—coal, charcoal, wood, or other fuel sources work. Hold Right-Click to fire a continuous beam. The gun consumes fuel while active, so monitor your fuel supply during extended combat.

Optimizing Damage

Your tank and emitter material choices determine beam power and efficiency. Experiment with different material combinations to find the balance between damage output and fuel consumption that suits your playstyle. Stronger materials typically deal more damage but may consume fuel faster.
