Debug and Inspect Trees

Inspect a Specific Tree

Use the inspect command to analyze a tree before felling it:

1. Hold your axe and look at the tree trunk

2. Run /treefelling inspect

3. The mod displays the tree's block mass, height, and predicted drop path

This helps you understand how large the tree is and where it will land, preventing surprises in tight spaces.

Preview the Landing Zone

Before committing to a chop, visualize the impact area:

1. Target the tree you want to fell

2. Run /treefelling preview

3. A visual guide appears showing the tree landing zone

Enable Debug Mode

If trees aren't felling as expected or you suspect detection issues:

1. Run /treefelling debug on to enable debug output

2. Attempt to fell a tree and check the logs for detection messages

3. Run /treefelling debug off when finished

Debug mode helps identify whether the mod is correctly recognizing your tree structure.
