How to Fix TierTagger Tags Not Showing

You installed TierTagger expecting tiers beside every name, but nothing appears. This is almost always a configuration or data issue rather than a broken mod, and you can work through it step by step.

Check the Basics First

Confirm the mod is actually enabled in your mods list and that it loaded without errors. Make sure you are looking in a place the mod renders tags, such as the tab list, chat, or nametags, since tags will not appear in menus or inventories. Verify your selected tierlist and gamemode in the config, because a gamemode with no data for that player will show nothing.

Match Names and Refresh Data

TierTagger matches players by username against the tierlist. If your name or another player's name does not match an entry, no tag shows. Check the tierlist site for the exact spelling. If names match but tags are still missing, restart the game or rejoin to force a fresh data fetch, and confirm your connection is online so the mod can reach the tierlist.

Finally, remember that unranked players legitimately have no tier. If someone is not on the list, an empty tag is the correct result, not a bug.
