How to Customize the Tier HUD and Switch Gamemodes

Changing What's Displayed

Open the mod's config screen to control two main things:

  • Gamemode shown — pick which ranking system's data appears on the HUD, or leave it on automatic detection.
  • HUD position — move the tier display to a corner or edge that doesn't clash with your other overlays (health, coordinates, etc.).

You can also change the icon style and color palette used for tiers, so the display matches your preference or your resource pack.

Fast Switching In-Game

You don't need to open the config every time you want a different system:

  • Press U to cycle to the previous ranking system.
  • Press I to cycle to the next one.
  • Press Y to re-run automatic gamemode detection if you've moved into a different gamemode.

Practical Setup

1. Set the HUD to a corner you rarely use for other mods.

2. Choose an icon style that's readable at your GUI scale.

3. Leave detection on automatic for general play, and use U/I only when you want to peek at a specific system.

4. Verify the change by glancing at the HUD — it should update immediately after each keypress.
