Making Temperature Work with Seasons, Space, and Origins Mods

One of the main reasons to install Thermoo Patches is cross-mod consistency. Temperature mods like Frostiful and Scorchful normally only react to vanilla-ish conditions, but Thermoo Patches bridges them to other systems so your body temperature responds correctly in more situations.

What Gets Bridged

  • Season mods: when a seasons mod is installed, ambient temperature from the season is fed into the Thermoo temperature system, so winter actually chills you and summer actually heats you.
  • Space/dimension mods: environments that should be freezing or scorching (for example airless or void-like dimensions) can apply the appropriate temperature pressure.
  • Origins-style mods: origin powers that change how a player handles heat or cold are respected, so a fire-immune or cold-adapted origin behaves as expected.
  • Special mobs: certain mobs that logically should radiate heat or cold can influence nearby players.

Getting It Set Up

1. Install Thermoo Patches alongside your temperature mod and the mod you want to integrate (seasons, space, origins, etc.).

2. Launch the game once so configs generate.

3. Check the Thermoo Patches config for per-integration toggles and enable only the ones matching mods you actually have.

4. Test in-game: travel to a cold season, a hostile dimension, or switch to a temperature-sensitive origin and confirm your temperature meter reacts.

Because each patch is optional, disabling one never breaks the others.
